heyhey people! Its me again from NC. I have been working hard but it is so much fun. I stay busy but honestly it really sin't "work". My parents came this weekend, it was pretty sweet. We rode around, went to the beach....all that good stuff....it was fun and then they went home yesterday...kinda sad but back to the camp for me. I will be home in a little over a month and I will want to see all of ya then! but anywho...I am about to head to the bed...I am tired...so I will write again later...peace yall...love you. | |
Hey yall. Been a while but I dont know about you but I have been BUSY!!!! ugh. It is so much fun tho. I cant believe I am getting paid to do this....Thank you God for such and awesome blessing. Wow. In Need of extra cash?! Tell your parents your leaving for the summer!Well Camp is fast approaching! According to my countdown I have a little more than 3 days until I jump on the plane and head to NC. I am really excited and my parents are freaking out! lol. They have gotten to that point of offering money instead of me going...lol...But I know something great is going to come out of all of this. and so I go... Bro. Randy (EBC) preached an awesome sermon this past Sunday, no doubt. He talked about how we may not be able to change the world but we can change the world for one person. And I know I will probably not change NC by going to this camp but I hope that I will be able to make such an impact on these kids that they will look up to a God they have never truly known and just say "wow..." On my end I will be in worship and revival and kinda on a crusade of my own. But here you also have a mission. To do the same. Go to your friends...have fellowships at the lake, invite unbelievers and in the midst of you piggin' out do a devotion....be the difference in that person's life. Do anything and everything to turn Jackson Parish, Louisiana, and the world upside down! Do you know how cool it would be for me to come back to a completely different Jackson Parish?! A parish where out of 15 thousand at least 14,500 are in church and the other ones are so convicted about it that they will be there next Sunday! wow. be the difference....just be the difference in your world this summer and when you go back to school in August make it where you have to have the baseball field to house the number of people joining in on your lunch time bible study. wouldn't that be awesome for the teachers and faculty to look out there and see their students praying for the school everyday 5 minutes before you go back to class?!what an impact! wow. lol. so I guess I will just be asking a favor, pray for me, and I'll be praying for you. Be the crusaders God would have us to be....laters. | |
Off to Camp We Go...Well yall...it looks like on May 27th I will be going to Parkton, NC to be a staffer at a camp for kids! I will be purchasing my ticket tonight and will be heading out at the end of the month. I will be gone until August 13th. It should be very fun and an experience of a lifetime. I can't wait! My parents keep asking me if I'm "sure I want to go" and my answer is always yes...it is a ways from home and it is 3 months but I think this is something I need. I need to get away and just develop on my own...good for me, I think...and I keep having in the back of my mind that if I dont go then I will ask what if my whole life...but anyway...I gotta get back to studying for a math final I have at 5...laters... | |
